This celebratory zabuton cushion was made in the Showa period. It is crafted from high-quality oni-shibo chirimen silk, known for its large textured crepe. It features a rare family crest design.
There is slight yellowing on the white areas of the crest, but the rest of the condition is very good. The piece is hand-sewn and finished with fine running stitches (gushi-nui), reflecting the considerable time and craftsmanship involved.
