This kimono fabric bolt was made between the Taisho period (1912–1926) and the early Showa period (1926–early 1930s). Fabric with such bold designs from this era is extremely difficult to find today, making it a highly valuable and rare piece.
The fabric is a lightweight and very soft kinsha silk. The design features a striking hanakuzudama (floral ball) pattern. There are some areas of slight color fading and dullness, but the overall condition is very good.
