This silk bolt is a deadstock item made from the Taisho period to the early Showa period. Silk bolts from this era are very rarely available today and are highly valuable.
The fabric was hand-dyed using natural pigments, creating colors that cannot be reproduced with modern techniques.
Since this silk bolt is about 100 years old, there is some slight discoloration from age and a few small light spots on the white areas. However, considering its age, the condition is very good. The fabric remains strong as it was at the time it was made.
It is a very soft, high-quality silk with a pleasant texture.
