This Maru obi was produced during the Taisho era to the early Showa era, approximately 100 years ago.
The design is particularly rare and distinctive, featuring bold floral kusudama (decorative flower ball) motifs woven in striking horizontal bands across the obi. The composition is both dramatic and elegant, making this a highly unusual and eye-catching antique piece.
There are no noticeable stains, damage, or other significant flaws. Considering its age, the overall condition is very good and it has been well preserved.
