100% Silk Japanese Embroidery Thread – Untwisted Kama-ito / Flat Silk Thread
This is a beautiful set of traditional Japanese embroidery thread made from 100% silk. It is a type of untwisted silk thread known as Kama-ito (釜糸), traditionally used for Japanese embroidery and other fine textile work.
Unlike ordinary twisted silk thread, Kama-ito is an untwisted, flat silk thread. The individual silk filaments lie smoothly together, creating a beautiful soft surface and allowing the thread to produce a rich, elegant appearance when used in embroidery.
This type of silk thread is particularly well suited for Japanese embroidery, kimono embroidery, decorative stitching, textile art, traditional crafts, and other detailed needlework. It can also be used creatively in contemporary embroidery and fiber-art projects.

Vintage Deadstock
These are vintage deadstock threads that have been stored for many years. The paper wrapping may have light dirt, discoloration, or signs of age due to long-term storage.
However, the silk thread itself is in good condition and has no problems.
These are available only while supplies last. Because they are vintage deadstock, there will be no restock once they are sold out.
This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain traditional Japanese silk embroidery thread that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
