This is a rare and luxurious vintage Japanese furisode juban (kimono undergarment) made in the early Showa period (pre-war era).
Such richly designed juban are seldom seen today.
The fabric is a heavy, high-quality rinzu silk, giving it a beautiful sheen and substantial feel.
The vibrant red background is decorated with elegant flying cranes, a traditional symbol of longevity and good fortune.
There are a few very small and faint stains on the white areas of the cranes, but they are hardly noticeable.
Overall, the condition is very good for its age.
