This Maru Obi is a beautiful vintage obi made during the Taisho period to the early Showa period (approximately the 1910s–1930s).
It features a bold and dramatic large crane roundel (Tsuru-maru) pattern, reminiscent of the striking designs seen on a maiko's darari obi.
Please note that there is some wear to the fabric at the tare-saki (the hanging end of the obi). Please refer to the photos for details.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains or significant marks. There is only a faint fold line on the te (the narrower wrapped section), and considering its age, I believe this obi is in excellent vintage condition.
